Regarding The Curse of a Well-Read Man

I'll be honest right now - I had no idea what I was getting into.

Sure, writing this fic is rather challenging, but that's what makes it so fun. One of the biggest challenges I've had was trying to work out where I was going with all of this, plot wise *groan*

(Sticking my head into the other room) TWILIGHT FOR GOD'S SAKE, STOP TRYING TO GET INTO THAT POOR MAN'S PANTS - YOU'LL HAVE AMPLE OPPORTUNITY TO DO SO IN A FEW CHAPTERS, SO WAIT FOR ME TO WRITE MORE!

(Sitting back down) Sorry about that! Erm...She's gotten a bit restless with her decidedly small spotlight - by which I mean her complete lack of success trying to seduce anyone in the fic. True, I've done my best to keep her in line for exposition purposes, but to avoid an utter catastrophe over here, I'm moving to fully embrace the Comedy tag on this story as of the upcoming chapter. True, there is a lot of mystery being set up, but all will be revealed in time.

Also, the angst was starting to gag me, as well as Twi trying to do the same. Not sure if it was supposed to be kinky or angry, but she can't type with hooves, so she still needs me (Note: Don't let anyone point out that Lee, Setton, Silias - hell, even The Beast - could give it a decent shot). So beginning with the next chapter, you'll see a lot more antics among the group.

Before I forget, I want to address what happened in the previous chapter regarding Pinkie: no, there was no funny business between the two (but I won't say what DID go down, so no one tell Twi otherwise; she might get jealous and lose her patience...and a desperate Twilight is one I don't want to unleash on the poor Silvertongue *yet*).

Anyway, thanks to everyone who favorited the story so far - you are a lovely audience, and I shall not disappoint you.

The new chapter is almost ready, but I won't release it yet as there was a plot device... (glares at Twilight, who is acting as subte as an airstrike at the choice of words)... that I have decided to implement, which is really important to the overall story and just managed to conceptually finalize this morning. Expect it by Wednesday or Thursday, I suppose.

EDIT: Alright, alright. I'll admit, I don't have the newest chapter ready for publication quite yet. I've decided to flesh out the new arc with the help of a human, and the reason is because [REDACTED]. Sorry, if I go into specifics, I'd risk spoilers.

For those of you unfamiliar with his work, I would suggest reading it over the next week or so while we work together on this.
