Hello, everyone.
With this blog post, I am proud to announce that I have finally started working on the chapter 9 update of When Kindness Met Hatred again! While still looking for summer employment, I have been finding ways to get back into the groove of things.
I think what helps for me is finding the right inspiration. Yesterday, I watched both Brokeback Mountain and Milk to help me get into the right mindset. I have to say they are both very beautiful films, and very touching. I'm glad I was able to watch and learn more from them.
To help me stay more productive, I'm setting up a personal goal of writing at least 1,000 words a day. If I find myself becoming even more creative do to this, I might add on to it. I've already written 200 today, and I'm planning on doing more either later this afternoon or this evening.
When will it be released? I haven't finished writing my rough draft yet, but from what I can tell, so far, it's pretty much crap. While this is not the end of the story, I find this to be my most challenging and sensitive chapter. That being said, once I finish writing at least three drafts of this, I'm going to ask for something that I have been going this whole time without: Pre-readers.
I feel like this next update will either make or break my story; I even fear losing followers and trackers over it. So to make sure it is at its best possible quality, I'm going to select three of you to have a first look at the chapter, to make sure everything is natural and the desired emotions are there. I will be open to anyone; however, simply to match the theme/feeling of the story, preference will be given to those who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, Queer, or Questioning. As an ally, I want to listen to your voices and have the proper understanding to bring them to life in my art. If you are interested, then please PM me, explaining why you're the right person for the job.
Thank you all for waiting so patiently and supporting me every step of the way. I hope to bring you all the best very soon.

While I do not qualify for any of those (I'm pretty sure I'm completely straight), I'm very interested in your stories and would love to be a prereader for the next part! I've been left on the edge for so long! I have to know what happens next!
