    Kept you waiting, huh?

Hello, everyone. (Or everypony. It's been a while since I've said that.)

Bet none of you expected to (ever) hear from me again. But I feel a little closure is necessary, whether you're still eagerly awaiting whatever is to come in this one story or not.

    Update

So, I had like 3 different chapters typed out and saved here.

    Now they're gone.

Don't worry, I'll get back to it once sight usage is no longer limited. (Every time I change a page, I get logged out.)

Quick question? · 2:35pm May 29th, 2012

Hello, avid readers!

We are nearing June, and as I have stated before, that is when I'll start publishing the sequel, approximately around earlier that month.

But before I do, I just have one quick question to ask all of you, pertaining to the story and why you decided to track/favourite it.

That question is:
Why did you track/favourite it? What did I do/have I done to make the story different from other HiE stories?

Honestly, I don't really know. I mean sure, the middle part is interesting and everything, but imho, I just reused an overused genre in this fandom and threw in a twist or two. (I've never actually fully read a HiE before.) In fact, I was reading through my first few chapters, and I think that to the ordinary reader, it wouldn't have looked very attractive. That and I can't count the number of times I facepalmed reading it over. Thank god I'm going to remaster it.

So, people/ponies(?), what did I do? What have I done to lure you into this story? Did I luckily dodge the bullet of an old cliche? Did I fortunately hit on an untouched well of untapped content (Lolwut?)? Was it a twist you've never seen before? What?

And I know some of you are actually not happy with the content, seeing as how sometimes things may be illogical, unethical, defies physics and whatnot. Believe me, I will try to correct them. But why do the positives significantly outweigh the negatives?

Seriously, because I'd like to know. You trackers came out of nowhere from where I started until now, and I'm thankful for that. But what kept you here? Please be as blunt as you want.

I'm not sure whether this question will actually benefit me, but it just confounds me. :p <------ And that's me still not knowing how to type out a pony emoticon.

So, tl;dr: Why are you still reading this story?

Thanks everyone, you've been great so far! I can only hope to continue to please you as the way I already have.

You defiantly dodged the bullet. thats what make your story different from the others.

Why am I still reading this story?
Because I enjoy reading it.
Most of fics I read are HiEs, so the genre of your fic isn't a problem in the slightest, at least for me.
Basically, the fic is enjoyable; It's not too dark and gloomy for my taste, there are no sudden twists or, anything in general that leaves a bad taste in my mouth

I found that the story had a good ratio of likes vs unlikes and decided that I would give few chapters a try.
While your story wasn't what I would call original in the beginning (which is hard pull of with the amount of HiE), you were consistent and steady in the development of you're protagonist and that is why I stayed for the rest of this story!

Other authors who pulls this of notably well in my eyes, is Blackwing (tends to also give good plot twists) and especially Christopher28 with A Different Viewpoint of Equestria (even though his protagonist seems very Gary Stu'ish).

Well, I'm a fan of HiE fics so I thought I would give the story a read. I liked it due to the interesting way you came to Equestria and how you interacted with the Mane 6 and details of humans being in Equestria in the past and the Harmony Medallion. This was and still is a great story!
:ajsmug::pinkiehappy::rainbowkiss::raritystarry::twilightsmile::yay:

In all honesty, I decided to track it due to the Human tag and the Romance tag. While I was hoping AJ would hook up with one of the Mane 6, :derpytongue2: is a good second choice. The whole medallion, and all the parts pertaining to it, just seems a bit pointless to me; I generally skip over those parts.

Why did I initially track/favorite it? Because I have a serious case of imaginary OCD and any and all stories that I find even remotely interesting I track/favorite/put on the read later list.

Why did I continue to read your story? Because I like it, I enjoy reading it. And that's about as complicated an answer as you're going to get from me on this subject.

Deal with it. :pinkiehappy:

Good plot, isn't blatant wish fulfillment, main 6 are in character, decent writing. Magical ambassador to equestria/ knight is an unexplored trope of HiE and you are doing well with it.

All you have to do is not be terrible and people will like your stuff. :D

Not many dislikes, started to read.
Read it in its entirety and still remember the plot - which basically means that quality of writing is high enough for me to ignore errors. Thus - favorited.
