#5: DW: Everything Stops for Tea · 6:07pm May 23rd, 2014
Just a quick post to notify any of my small band of followers who are interested, that a new single episode story of the Doctor Who audio drama series has been released on YouTube and Podomatic.
"Everything Stops for Tea"
One Episode
(20 May 2014)
The Doctor awakens in what appears to be England in the late nineteenth century, but
the details are all slightly off. Blamed for inciting riots and put on trial, the Doctor faces
a justice system which rests halfway between grossly rigged and utterly ludicrous, and
all his most private thoughts are laid bare for all to see. The Doctor's life hangs in the
balance, and the mystery of the world will be revealed when the clock strikes four.
From an idea by Anne Lawrence.
Guest starring Anne Lawrence, Viktor Aurelius
and Mark Bruzee.
Also featuring Ed Waldorph, Ed Mace
and Linda Leete.

This episode includes our new custom theme variation by HardWire and guest stars Viktor Aurelius, whose own work you can check out here. We also welcome our new assistant producer and webmistress Anne into the fold.
All-in-all, I'm quite pleased with how this came out. It was a fun little episode to fill the gap between The Wooden Planet and our next multi-part adventure, The East India Incident, which I'm looking forward to immensely. In other news, today I received a copy of The Eyes of the Dragon in the post as a gift from Codex, and I suspect that if it's as good as I hope it is, it'll end up lending its own magic to The Country of Roses in the near future, and if nothing else I'm curious to see what caused all the fuss that resulted in Mister King writing Misery, the film adaptation of which I still count among my top ten most genuinely disturbing moments in cinema. The next update is coming very soon, so keep an eye out for it.
