Old news: Twilight's Inferno, the prequel to Trixie vs. Equestria, releases this Saturday (the 24th).
Slightly younger news: The superawesomtastic Keyblade Pony contacted me last night. My custom cover art is practically guaranteed to be ready by the time of publication.

Holy shit on a jalapeno stick, the Luna-be-blessed timing! This means Twilight's Inferno is going to release right after TvE starts riding the wave! It's like an advertising gift falling right into my lap. I couldn't pay for better!
I don't drink, but if I did I'd be getting the most expensive Italian wine I could afford and share a glass with the phenomenal Cerulean Voice, without whose editing prowess this never would have happened. Well, you can unpublish them, then whenever you republish them, TvE will get another bump on EqD for the story updates, earning you even more attention! That, and don't you want all of your shiny new readers to see your best work the first time?

It's okay, once you republish the chapters, the comments come back! It's all good. I just checked with Myths and Birthrights, a story that's been up since December last year, and has been almost completely pulled down for rewrites. The oldest comment is still from 73w ago.
It's only if you delete the chapters that the comments vanish. Unpublishing them just holds them in some form of stasis.
