Does a draconaquus count as a dragon of some type? If so I wanna add the story of them to a group I made for spike/OC dragons.

No... not really. A draconaquus is a being that is a mixture of a whole bunch of different creatures. A head of a pony, dragon wing, pegasus wing, deer antler, lizard tail, lion paw, etc.
