Marener progress, and Journal opinion · 1:24am May 18th, 2014
Hello everyone,
Today marks the halfway point of my latest big project "The Rhyme of the Ancient Marener" and I gotta say I'm happy with the way it looks so far. I know barely 600+ words each chapter isn't really an amazing feat, but the amount of time it takes to come up with multiple rhyming stanzas is a lot of work in itself. I am happy though, that I've been able to make at least two chapters a day these weekends so far. With any luck, I should have this story finished by next week (knock on wood).
I feel like I may have left a plot twist in my latest chapter 'Intermission' but at the same time, to anyone who's been following the story so far, it shouldn't be that big of a surprise I would think. I almost regret not adding a dark, or gore tag, but I feel that I can work well with what I've done so far, and what I still have planned. Stay posted for the remaining chapters!
Now I come to the second part of my title. I've been thinking for a while now, about continuing one of my previous stories "My Little Journal" and I want to get some opinions from my followers, or anyone else reading this.
Basic synopsis; I've been transported into the world of MLP:FiM as a female pony, and have been struggling with getting back and adapting to this new world. I've been contemplating about a possible relationship, but I'm not sure which race to try to focus on. [Side-note] I'm not going for any of the mane cast, more dominant background ponies, anypony who's been voiced by an actress and mentioned on the MLP Wikia, or anypony who's had direct interaction/speaking role with any of the mane cast (meaning touched by/spoken with). Essentially, it's going to be a female background pony nonetheless, but it won't be one of the more mainstream ones (at least the ones I'm sure are mainstream).
So my question to you the reader is: "Which race should I go for? Unicorn, Pegasus, or Earth?"
I've also been presented with a collaboration option (at least I think it was a collab option?) by one of my followers silverMEGAlicorn, back before I put the story on hiatus, so I'm open to that as a separate/side-story as well.
