Quick Updates/Taking Story Requests! · 2:41pm May 28th, 2012
Hello once again everypony and everybody,
Just a quick update before I have to go out to marching practice. I have a new "official" FIMFiction in the works. I call it official because it's probably the biggest writing project I've ever challenged myself with. School seems to have failed me in that department.
I'm also revisiting Banished In The Moon. Some of you were probably wondering why it never got published. It did finally get proofread for a last time, but it has been in my possession long enough for me to realize it has bigger potential. It won't be as big as my new project, but adding a few chapters before and after would make the story better in my opinion.
And with that, I'm still left with an urge to write short stories, and yet no idea what to write about. So, I'm going to take requests; after all, writing is about the readers!
Ever wondered if Screwball really is Discord's daughter? Just waiting for a clopfic between Fluttershy and Twixie? Or maybe interested in reading another innocent romance between Rarity and Applejack? Well, here's your chance ladies and gentleman (and everyone else!).
I may be a novice writer, but I'm willing to try anything. I hope you all love what I write for you.

I'm looking forward tO reading all of banished to the moon!
The first chapter sadly won't be done till Saturday, considering how far back in the story I'm going. You will be the first to read it, though, considering you're my current go-to proofreader, haha.
I've been finding a lot of ideas from songs lately, but with one story in progress and a separate trilogy waiting in the wings for later, I doubt I'll ever get around to them, so feel free to take these two. I'll summarize the premise with a sentence or two, then let the song explain the story's progression and mood, and if you like the result that you envision when you pair them up, you can add them to your request list.
-Twilight takes an interest in healing magic, and seeks out a specialist to be her mentor. Song
-There are plenty of other fics where the Mane 6 weren't the first to bear the Elements, but what if they weren't the second, or even third? What if the Elements had a long history of previous bearers, but it was a history with a significant lack of happy endings? Song (just replace "Heralds" with "Elements" in the lyrics)

Those are both solid ideas! I'm currently muzzle deep in a Twiluna short story and don't want to distract myself, but I'll definitely check them out once I'm done. Thanks for sharing.

I presume you're referring to Half-Moon Rising? Writing a story along with other writers is honestly something I've thought about doing, it would be a good experience. If that is what you're referring to, then count me in! I should have the story I'm working on now done by later tonight, I'll try to get myself caught up and work on something these next few days.
