    The End of an Era

It's very difficult to say goodbye to one's childhood heroes.

It's even harder when one of those heroes continues to be active into one's adulthood.

After 27 years, The Undertaker, has apparently hung it up.

For wrestling fans in general, it's a stunning moment.

For myself in particular, it feels almost like a punch in the gut followed by a boot to the head.

Happy Birthday to me, and new update!

Well, today I turn 37. It may be my birthday, but you guys get the gift! I promised updates were coming. I know, I know. I promised two by my birthday. Things got a little crazy. But I did managed to get one up. The other is still in the works and I may be able to get it uploaded, if not published, by the end of the night. Keep your fingers crossed. If not by tonight, expect it by no later than

    Updates a-comin!

Well it's been awhile since I actually did anything here, ain't it?

That's all about to change. While I'm still writing my own original novels, I am happy to say that the holidays come bearing literary gifts.

Recently Multiple Ordained. My life is weird, but true.

Just a quick head's up to anyone who follows me,

I am officially ordained in four online churches. Just thought people should know, in case they need someone to officiate anything. Provided you live in my state or can get transportation for me or you set up.

    Possible pairings

    Hey gang.
While I have some plans in mind for this, I'm curious as to who you guys think would be good pairings between my characters from the Shogunverse, and the canon series. I'm curious to see what people think, and then I get to cackle madly and show who's right, who's wrong, and who was crackshipping. :rainbowlaugh:

So hit me with your best guesses, peeps!

Hail to the King! · 3:57am May 16th, 2014

I just got back from seeing Godzilla tonight.

Oh.

My.

GOD(ZILLA)!

Okay for anyone who might be worried that this was going to be another Roland Emmerich film? Put those fears to bed. While the film did focus more on the humans than I'd like, Godzilla was very well represented and looked and felt like Godzilla. I had very few complaints other than that I thought we needed more screen time to be devoted to the Kaiju themselves. But even then, they were still what drove the film.

Godzilla's new look is very much inspired by the classic Toho designs, though I found his feet to look very odd. But the rest of him? Yeah, that's how a CGI Godzilla should look. Ken Watanabe proves why he seems to have the damn Midas Touch, cause he really plays his role well, and it seems like this movie is going to be gold. (For those who love Godzilla easter eggs, pay very close attention to the name his character has in this movie.)

There were some great easter eggs in this movie. I won't spoil them for you. But just know that some of them are 'blink and you'll miss it' deals.

The ending is fantastic. Godzilla's standing with humanity is left ambiguous to some extent, but one thing is for sure....and this is a minor spoiler/easter egg and I know I promised I wouldn't spoil them, but this I just can't resist. When you have the news calling you both the King of the Monsters and a savior....well, I think that while the relationship between Godzilla and humanity might have been somewhat rocky at the start, I think it'll get better as time goes on.

I can't wait to see what he does next. :pinkiehappy:
