So I keep promising up and down that I'll write more stuff soon but I never do. Whether this is due to a lack of inspiration, time, or just my sheer laziness, I can't tell anymore. And I don't want to make that same promise again in fear of breaking it for the millionth time.
But I am taking Mares of Tomorrow off hiatus.
Mainly because I'm finding it hard to get inspiration for High Seas and Howling Winds, but also because I noticed the view, like, and favorite count. With only one chapter, Mares of Tomorrow has beaten Howling Winds, which has 5. It's pretty clear which is the more popular story. But if this is going to happen, I'm going to have to ask a favor from you guys.
Pester me.
I'm dead serious. The best way to ensure that I will write, and continue to do so, is to constantly bug me about it. It will keep my mind focused on the story. Not only that, I'll be motivated to write just to make you guys shut up. I'm one of those people. So spam my PM folder. Heck, I'd even throw out my skype name so you can pester me in real time.
I know that I shouldn't have to make you guys do this, and chances are none of you will. But I think it'll help, at least until I kick my habit of dropping off the planet for months at a time.

In response to 2114446 , though, I will be trying to write both stories. Didn't work out so well last time, but I was also in school. Rather than doing an update for one and then the other, I'll just be writing for whatever I have an idea/inspiration for at the moment.

So I got sick and then my internet decided to crap out for over a week. Needless to say, I was not pleased. And I didn't get a lot of work done for obvious reasons. But everything's back up now and I'm able to write again.

Still alive and still working. As mentioned in a previous response, I got sick for a while and my internet hasn't been working properly for at least a month. Still on the fritz a little, actually. And I just got back from Trotcon. I have been making progress though
