In all seriousness guys, I have some changes planned for Lavender. None too big, but they will be a bit noticeable. One is that I'm going deeper into her childhood/babyhood (heh, if that's a word) because I feel like I glossed over that way too fast. I'm also planning on remaking some parts to be more canon like (alt universe be damned xD). Meaning, goodbye library (too soon?) and hello castle! Don't worry guys, that's about it. I'm not going to change Lavender's personality. I'm not going to rewrite it entirely, and I'm definitely not taking it down and re-uploading it (that's just silly). I just want to make it better, meatier, and overall more readable. I want Lavender to be as polished as she can be. So, that's something to look forward to, along with some updates on it.
And even if you aren't on board with the Twilight being royalty yet (I mean, come on guys it's been over a year already), just hear me out:
Princess Lavender. Princes.... Lavender..... greatest overlord dracony who will punish her adversaries on her tiny throne. Think about it 
No, how Rarity and Spike got together will not be included in the revamped version, so don't ask :P

2107112 I would advise that you keep the library; not because I want it to stay but because changing the 'home base' eight chapters into the story on a whim (canon be damned)...well its just not done. If you were say 2-3 chapters in to the plot that's another story, but changing a significant part of the setting this far in...well as an accomplished reader I wouldn't advise it. I'm fine with everything else though.

Considering how the library wasn't a huge main focus anyways (except organizing books), I'm not sure if it'll be that big of an issue. Granted you could make the argument that we don't know much about this new castle, and you'd be correct.
I'm kinda conflicted, but at the same time, I think this is a good move. I don't know, if too many object, then I'll consider, but I since we haven't been at the library that much, it can't be that bad right?.... Right?

Eh, for all we know they may bring the tree back in some way. I know the castle is in its place yada yada... I'm just saying don't count your scootaloo's before they're hatched.
