Howdy y'all
Okay, so my track record for writing hasn't been great lately. Life is a lovely thing, and rest assured I have been loving life the past few months. I'm now nearing my year anniversary of graduation and next week I'm spending a week in the Dominican Republic at a seaside resort. Truthfully, life couldn't be better.
However, as my life gets back on track and I am finding myself with free time and desire to write again, I look back at all of my unfinished stories and my frighteningly staggering list of stories that I planned out and started.
So now I need to focus. Truly focus.
This is an A or B choice that I want all y'alls help on:
A- Rewrite Element's of Love from the beginning, using my now VASTLY improved writing skills and even tweak what has happened a bit to be much more along the lines of what I have been intending all along.
B- Continue Element's of love from where it is right now, the way it is, only moving forward.
Now, I am quite partial to the idea of a rewrite BUT I do not want to do it if it means half of the people who is eagerly awaiting the gold star on their bar to glow and see Elements of Love listed will lose interest. Hense, the poll.
I'd like to see what happens next
If you wanted to apease to both sides, you could continue while simultaniously rewriting/proofreading past chapters.
What They said.
Continue and rewrite. Do both, as you feel led. The first will allow you to get the base idea down. The next will allow you to refine that idea.
personally, I would love to see both, but choosing one or the other....choice B
Do both! You can continue the story from where it is now, and go back and fix up any stuff that you didn't like in previous chapters. It's gotta be a lot less work than completely re-writing the story.
