Okay, if anyone thought, "Hey, Dusky's been quiet on FimFiction for a while, did they quit?"
Okay, so, lemme just get out my notes here and give people an update on what I've been doing.
Welllll, I'm still writing Project Fugitive (still haven't thought of a permanent title yet), and... I've decided on a contingency plan. While I am trying to meet the deadline so I can enter it into the Badass Twilight contest, I realized that the contest comes "second."
So, even if I miss the deadline, it's not like I'm just going to forget about the story; the story WILL go live on June 2nd. What's gonna happen if the story is "incomplete," is that I'll put out what I've finished so far, and then steadily release the chapters over a small period of time.
After my obligatory grace period to admire my own work, I'm gonna go back to updating Remnants (since I now know how I want it to end). Then I might actually go ahead and start putting content on my youtube channel.
I've also been thinking of going back and giving my older stories a 'new coat of paint,' so to speak.
I've got like... a lot of things I wanna do after June 2nd. Hope you'll stick with me to see it through. : )
Other than that, I watched the season 4 finale and now I'm just going to sit here and wait for someone in the fandom to make an AMV of "Twilight Sparkle vs Tirek" set to "Before my blood is dry." And for every day that wish does NOT become a reality, I will break one of your bones. So chop-chop, someone with good AMV skills, please go do that, otherwise I'll have to do it myself and I really don't want to when I have THAT, *points to giant tower of stuff to finish,* to contend with. >: |
Let's see, what else, what else. Oh, I've been helping out TheLostNarrator on various projects. Really nice person, you should totally go check them out if you haven't already. : )
I do have some bad news though: "Due to how close the deadline is for Project Fugitive is, I'm gonna have to temporarily suspend my weekly drawing challenge." Don't worry though! If you can't live without your weekly Dusky fix, then I will be uploading backup drawings, or older drawings that I never bothered to upload for some reason.
Okay, I think you're all caught up now, so I'm just gonna go dive back into that while I'm still somewhat conscious.
3 weeks... just 3 weeks to go... I wanna cry! D':
