Tomorrow's the big day! Season 4 finale pregame

So tomorrow's the big day! The bronies Super Bowl Sunday, the season 4 final! So I thought it might be fun to have make a post for a little, shall we say, pregame hype...

Now in the past, the season finale episodes have been big...

Very big, last time Twilight became an alicorn princess and from what I understand this episode will somewhat focus on Twilights role in equestria, but more on that a bit later.

Now tomorrow's finale is a two parter, we haven't gotten a season finale two parter since Season 2 Canterlot Wedding, now that one was good (a little bad soap operay but good) that one brought us...

Twi's brother Shinning Armor

A new admittedly less powerful villain Queen Chrysalis,

A new evil species in the pony world, the Changelings!

And my personal favorite, Princess Mi Amore Candenza, Cadance to her friends.

Now then this episode is called "Twilight's Kingdom" which pretty much guarantees it will be Twilight centered, more specifically, about her role as an Equestrian Princess! Twilight became an Alicorn princess last season finale but since then she hasn't really, done anything really... princess worthy, that's not to say she hasn't done anything exciting all season, with evil plants, magic boxes, the EQ games, and of course the fact that some ponies see her as a kind of celebrity now. But it just seems like all those things could've been done when she was still a unicorn. I mean to say, exactly why Twilight was made a princess with no specific role. By role I mean think of how Celestia and Luna are the leaders of Equestria and the princess of day and night, Cadance is the ruler of the Crystal Empire and the princess of love. But all Twi's done as a princess so far is smile and wave, but tomorrow that all changes, tomorrow Twilight will get a role and apparently a kingdom!

So this whole two parter's going to be about Twi figuring about her role right? No big bad guys, no threats to Equestria, and no danger right? If only, no Twilight will have more to worry about then just finding her role, in fact all of Equestria has a lot to be worried about!

(queue dramatic dark music)

Deep within Tartartarus, (that's the ponified version of Hell people!), Lies an old evil, he tried to take over Equestria, he tried to steal all the power for himself, he failed and was locked away, that was supposed to be the end of the story.... it's not!

Behold the face of evil...

Okay more like the eyes of evil but still, both Celestia and Luna are still haunted by dreams of this new villain, long ago he and his brother Scorpan set their sights on Equestria, they aimed to steal all it's magic! However after Scorpan befriend a young wizard he attempted to stop his brother, but he had to tell the ponies, and this new villain was exiled and imprisoned in Tartartarus! Oh my apologies I haven't given you the name of this new villain, Tirek, Lord Tirek! For a sneak peak at this villain at work watch this...

Move over Sombra, there's a new top bad guy in town! This guy makes Sombra look like Fluttershy, this guy's like the guy Nightmare Moon see's in her nightmares! And speaking of Nightmare Moon I've heard that Tirek may have had something to do with that, with Luna becoming Nightmare Moon (at the very least he has a connection to the Pony of Shadows which is a part of Nightmare Moon). Now think of Discord how he was turned to stone by the Elements of Harmony and then when Luna became Nightmare Moon she and Celestia lost their connection to the elements, and with the magic holding him captive breaking Discord was able to break free, what if Luna becoming Nightmare Moon wasn't an accident, what if Tirek was in a similar position to Discord, bound by the Elements, and what if Tirek was whispering from the shadows to Luna, what if he filled her head with doubt and lies so she would become Nightmare Moon and in doing so destroy the link the royal sisters held to the Elements of Harmony so whatever spell was binding him to his prison would gradually weaken, so he could escape and claim what (in his mind) should've been his long ago! And another thing, if you've read my review of Princess Twilight you'll know I found it hard to believe that Discord's seeds would just suddenly sprout up after thousands of years even if the tree of harmony was getting weaker, what if Tirek used the seeds to get the mane six to put the elements back, to there'd be nothing to stop him! Now that's just a theory but it does make sense does it not?

Here's another theory about Tirek's defeat, Tirek wants to steal all the magic in Equestria and he seems to be able to steal certain kinds of magic, but there are certain kinds of magic that are limitless, that have the ability to grow more and more powerful, it's the same magic that saved Scorpan long ago, a magic that can never be drained!
