As some of you may know, I have a story going where bronies get sent to equestria as space marines! YAY!, right?
Something like that...
Oh shut up, we all know you like Luna.
I am a Lunar Templar after all, of course I love Empress Luna; guardian of the night.
>.>... Anyway... For anyone who wants to submit a marine to possibly become an officer or a member of the away team for the popularity that is the Dark Souls summon that's been going around, all you would have to do is:
1. Determine your character's specialty. This one is really easy, simply choose whether your class.
~~Devastator: Specialist in heavy weapons
~~Apothecary: A medic
~~Tactical Marine: Your standard marine that comes with a boltgun and any other chapter-based fluff Like an adamantine sword for the dark angels. ...Yes...
~~Assault Marine: These are the guys with the jump packs, they're typically equipped with some sort of pistol weapon and a close combat weapon, although it is a guideline and not a rule.
~~Techmarine: These guys have lots of extra arms because of machine implants, although the specific number is usually 1 for new marines.
~~And finally, The Librarian: the psychic power-user
2. What's your character's physical description? Typical stuff like mane and coat colors because ALL the marines are going to be earth ponies.
3. The chapter the character's original marine outfit is based off of.
4.The chapter they will be in during the story. At first it's just the Lunar Templars and the Solaris Knights (Based off of the dark angels look and the ultramarines looks, respectively). However, New chapters will be added as Alicorns rise up, and any character can try for Chapter master of the new chapters.
5. Personality. This one should be self explanatory.
If you want your character to advance in the ranks as a chaplain, Terminator, etc... just add on to the message letting me know.

Personality: Extremely outgoing and eccentric, can be taken as psychotic, but when talking about bloodshed or when in battle is cold and calculating. His behavior off-duty is a type of coping mechanism he uses to help keep his own sanity. A phrase he goes by; one must act insane to stay sane, for when he knows what he is doing is insanity, that is when he knows that his own sanity is intact.

Description: blue coat with light green mane(allthough he has tried to dye it golden), blue eyes.
Personality; coming from a chapter of traditionalist , he is very stubborn, and believes that many answers can be found in the actions of those in the past, and he has continued to defend the codex astrates from ridicule, sometimes even violently. Although he isn’t blinded by his views, and he will try to find a solution to a problem, if he thinks that there is a better solution. He is very caring of the common people, holding masses for them, and has been noted to risk his own life, to save civilians/military personnel. In fact, it was this that got him into a dreadnought. belives that the emperesses are both equal, and for the empire to survive, all space marines regardless of chapter, must pay homage to in equal amounts to both of them.

Ever since i caught this thread i was hoping that even with my severe lack of Warhammer knowledge i would be allowed to submit a marine. Are you still taking submissions?
2973842 Absolutely! Don't worry, I have a limited knowledge of the series myself, most of it comes from wikis. hence why I moved the setting to Equestria so I could have some creative freedom
2978784 Cool beans! But, before I waste either yours or my time, just how much creative freedom with character creation do we have, cause I was planning on thinking WAY outside the box for my Marine?
For example: An Assault-Tec Marine, from the Angry chapter, but because he considers himself insane at times. (a.e. The Angry moto- Always angry, all the time. His moto- I am quite literally the maddest thing out here.)
2980552 so far the angry marines are a little too far out of what we need, we do need righteous fury, but more along an orderly zeal instead of just going all ork-rage
2982324 The thing is we do need cans o' whoopass, but we don't need the angry marines because they've only got one planet to be angry on in this story and not a whole galaxy to spread themselves across. And it tends to grate on the nerves of other chapters if the angry marines are around too long

Personality file---------Tamara believes that the Solar and Lunar Empresses are both equal in all things. There is nothing that can shake her belief and to attempt to is to be immediately labeled almost as bad as a Heretic, in her eyes. In her free time, Tamara can usually be found in the library perusing the archives, the armory maintaining her weapons and armor, or in the training hall keeping her body in peak physical shape. She can, for a good while, come off as very stoic or perhaps shy, but it is just that her background from before attempting to become an Inquisitor has left her of the opinion that actions speak louder than words. She will almost never offer her personal opinion unless she believes that someone is outright making a grievous error in judgement. For some unknown reason she has been known to suffer from bouts of insomnia. She would just use this as a form of opportunity.
