It's still being actively written.
The reason it hasn't updated in so long is because I don't want to throw in a new chapter while it's being evaluated by EQD. It has been three weeks, so hopefully I'm near the front of the line now.
If it gets onto EQD, I'll put the chapter up the next day. It is finished, and has been for a while. If I get rejected, I'll see if I know anyone who can tell me why--and I won't hold back updates any more. I'm unemployed, and will be for at least another week, so that might be enough time to pre-load two more chapters after that.
And, again, pretty much everyone reading this has seen a very serious spoiler, because I went back and changed it so that a major detail is no longer known to AJ and Rarity. Sorry. :/ Hopefully, the exploratory nature of this story (and the other aspects of the ending) will carry it.
