Trotcon Fan Fiction Panel thing of super dupernessity · 2:45pm Apr 29th, 2014
Soooooo... apparently I'm hosting the Fan Fiction Panel at this years Trotcon in Ohio. And on top of that, so far it's the ONLY fan fiction related panel. "Writers Waffling about Writing Willingly." Honestly, if I had expected I'd get the panel... I would have given it a better name AND an actual description, instead of what I did give it.
So, here's the dealio. I'm planning on having about four or five people to be fellow panelists, and I already have one victim, Vargras. This means that we need a couple more people. So if anyone out there is going to Trotcon and would be interested in being on a fan fiction panel where we talk about ponies in stories written by older men then send me a message. I don't know how many people will be going, or even interested in this, so I just want to say that I can't just accept anyone. That doesn't mean I want only "popular" writers either, I'm just saying that I need more professional people who know what they're talking about and can give sound advice for writing.
Basically if you ask me, I'll look over a couple of your fics, and if it looks good then depending on how many people ask for permission I'll make my choices. Oh, and Varg will help too. So, hopefully I'll get to meet some of you, if you go to the con. I'm easy to spot, since I always wear the same black/red plad O'niell hat with two Macintosh pins on it.
So yeah, I guess that's it. Expect a Divergent Days update sometime this week! And maybe Doctor Bees, since it's been almost done for like a month. Seriously, why can't I get some time to just sit down and finish this stuff? OH well, Toodles!
lel kan i bee on it
Bummer I can't go, cause I'd like to meet you in person.
Oh well, have fun choosing your victims.
~The lizardman is finished
I'll likely be there and would love to panel up with you again. :D
I certainty hope quantity isn't too much a deciding factor here... If you need to fill an extra slot I'll be here.
EDIT: If nothing else I've read a lot and so I can at least provide accurate knowledge on what works.
As a writer that wants to constantly improve and all that drag jazz, that seems like an amazing panel. However, I cannot attend.
This really saddens me since I love to give out writing tips.
Oh well. I hope I can go in the future.
Have fun at the con!
Mmm, you've run into a bad case of writers' block! Watch out, it's contagious!

Actually it's a case of "slow editor."
