What.

So here I am, out in the halls of my dorm, minding my own business, and typing this dumb 15-page-long research paper due within half a day when, suddenly, my roommate launches himself out of our room, chasing his buddy, who escapes to his dwelling and locks the door.

"You're a free elf now!" exclaims said roommate.

I look up to see him giggling in front of his buddy's room before he bounces away (not unlike Pinkie Pie) back to our space. As soon as he's out of the way, I notice a red base, pink striped sock hanging from the door knob.

Strangely, my 40-hour sleep deprived mind picked up the reference, but even so, I still don't understand what aspired a little over two minutes ago.

If only papers could write themselves and let me sleep in peace...

Mostly just typing this to remember it...and ask what the heck my roommate was thinking. Then again, some things are best left unexplained.
