So, I'm officially a world traveller.

So, I went to Italy at the end of May. Pretty fun experience, really. I was admittedly all ruined out by the end of it, but I seriously enjoyed the landscapes as well as ruins such as the Coliseum, The Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica, and Mt. Etna. Oh, wow, Mt. Etna was glorious. The views coming to and from the mountain, actually going up 10,000 ft. to the highest safe point on the

    Outlines!...but not much else.

So, I have a good thing going in that I have a least three stories oulines for Stories From the Grave. Maybe four if I include the one I had originally meant to start out the little collection.

    I hate my English classes.

To put it simply, I really, really, really just don't like how much thought I have to put into everything I read like my goddamn (or Celestia-damned) life depends on it.

    Chasing Ice

I normally don't write about what I've seen in my college classes in a more public setting, but I really do kinda feel like I need to get thise off my chest.

    You know that feeling...

When you're stuck with a good number of stories you want to read (or re-read!) yet feel like you have other commitments that you either want to or need to take care of at the same time, and the resulting opposite forces make you feel like you're being mentally pulled in two (or three, or however many unique other things you feel need to be done at the time)?

Yeah, I got that. In spades.

Story ideas · 7:39pm Apr 27th, 2014

These are some of the MLP-related story ideas that I have in mind to write at...some point in the future, with their working title, a small paragraph about it, and maybe some comments of my own. I make no promises as to whether or not they'll actually be written or in what order, but I do hope to get at least two or three of these written.

Child of the Grave (MLP-only, Slice of Life)

A young colt who is able to see the ghosts of dead ponies helps them remember what regrets they had before they died to let them pass on and find some closure.

(This may very well be my first story posted here, unless I can write up a suitable one-shot. In any case, for right now I plan on having each story in these be self-contained, but have some amount of continuity to them, if that makes sense. I'm not planning on making it get any larger than the central premise, but there is always the possibility of coming up with a plot that requires more than just 3-4 chapters to complete.)

Harmony's Remnant (MLPxTouhou crossover, adventure, dark?)

A young teen from the Human Village finds a battered chest in a small home that was covered up by the Bamboo forest. Inside the chest are five nearly pristine necklaces and an equally pristine tiara, with strange gems set in the center of each. However, this jewelry is more than they appear to be, and the young man will have a new adventure on his hands to unravel just what they mean.

(Roughly inspired by "The Jewelry Box", Harmony's Remnant is one of my bigger projects, though I don't really intend to write this one right away. HR itself has at least 3 different parts: Part 1, Discovery, where the chest is found by the teen and his female friend; Part 2, Search, where the teen looks for six people in Gensokyo that match the virtues of the Elements; and part 3, Journey, where these eight (plus anyone else who may come) go into the Forest of Magic to find the ingredients necessary to send the six back home with the Elements. There MAY be a Part 4 to have the Six deal with whatever got them in the chest in the first place, or a prequel to describe how it happened, but I'm not sure about that yet.)

The God Complex(ity): Flight of the Alicorns (Original story with MLP mixed in, adventure, kinda Slice of Life, dark)

Lyra and Bon Bon are two normal mares in Ponyville. Other than taking care of Bon Bon's shop, helping Lyra reach her dream as a performer (and minimizing her dreams about "humans"), and figuring out if they really care for each other as more than friends, things are going pretty well.

That is, until Bon Bon gets pregnant with an impossible revelation: Her child is an alicorn. And then Lyra begins displaying some strange tendencies of her own.

Hunted down by a strange cult, and dealing with new powers or new responsibilities they don't truly understand, Lyra and Bon Bon must survive outside of Ponyville, take care of their newborn foal, help Lyra control her new powers, and reach Celestia and Luna or anyone else who can help them out.

Sounds pretty simple, right?

(Inspired in part by Tundara's "Myths and Birthrights" (at least for the concept of using godhood for the premise), The God Complex(ity) is a mixed bag and one of the other big stories I have. There is only one part that deals with Equestria itself, as well as the last part which ties each of the branches together and finishes the story, so those two parts will be the only ones posted here on FiMfiction. I will make sure to link to the other parts once they get written, though.)

Twin Souls (MLP-only, Slice of Life)

Twilight asks Applebloom to help her with a new spell; however, the spell goes awry, and Applebloom finds herself inside Twilight's mind. With only Twilight to truly talk to, how can the two of them get AB back into her body again?

(This is a story taken from a plot idea that I wanted to use for an RP that I'm in, but recycled for MLP once that fell through. I may still include the original plot as a sequel, but first things first, of course.)

These aren't ALL the ideas I have, but they're the ones that I have as a high priority to write. I will be asking for editors when I get the chance, so keep a look out.
