Though It sucks that I'm a few inches shorter than Applejack... Lol I would also think RD is a little taller. Not by much though.

I have no idea how U.S. System works, but if I got it right I am littler shorter than Rarity.
The only ones that I believe were spot-on to my headcanon were the height charts for the princesses and the CMC. I think its reasonable to think Fluttershy being the shortest but jeez Ambris made them all flatter than day old soda.
Well, I think I'll be fine. The only ones taller than me is Luna and Celestia, but not by much!

When things are done for the media (documentaries, etc), they are translated into Imperial units, because the majority of the (American) audience would have no idea how big or small of things we were talking about when talking in some strange units they aren't familiar with. I'm not saying it should stay this way, I'm just telling you why we don't change. That and we're more stubborn then donkeys in mating season.

2047244 Well regarding language, If you took two children and taught one Japanese and the other English, most likely The child learning Japanese would learn everything faster then the kid learning English because English has a lot more rules and meanings then most languages.
Now as for what you say for learning metric over imperial, It's just a matter what you learned as a kid. Really when you break it down, it doesn't matter what you use as long as it works. If it didn't work then by logic, 90% of all our buildings and whatnot should've already collapsed by now. Lol

All I can say is we use it because that's what the general public is used too. It takes a shit load of time to change stuff like this and since we are one of the biggest countries on the planet, that also has different views then others, changing them isn't easy. That said, Most if not all of the US's Scientists and other research branches use Metric only. :P
