With another fresh layer of snow (after being able to wear shorts on Monday), this year has officially been the snowiest on record. Now, when I grow old, I can recount the tale of how I survived the winter of '14. With such stories like the time I nearly crashed my car into a snow bank while pulling into the neighborhood while Sugar Rush played in the background. If it wasn't for that last second jerk of the wheel... I might have had an excuse for not writing.
What Choice Do I Have updates with Twilight crossing the Moral Event Horizon and bringing the story one step closer to a true grimdark ending. Hoofington's insurance premiums must be insane with the number of times the place has been fucked over in fanfics. Probability of [Grimdark] ending: 93%,
Like so many fanfics before it, Miss Sparkle, Psychopath stumbles and falls flat on its face with the reveal of a villain that makes absolutely no sense and isn't connected to the rest of the story in the slightest. Yet another fanfic has tripped up near the finish line. I really wish fanfics would stop doing that. Probability of [Grimdark] ending: 05%.
The Lunar Rebellion updates with the slow beginning of the titular event. Politics and war preparations ensue. Did I ever mention how much I love fanfics that have politics and government in them?
Rites of Ascension updates with Celestia shedding some light on her politics and motives and playing the “screw technology because it screwed us” card that can only spell trouble for civilization and society.
The One Pony You Never Prank updates with the absurdity being ratcheted up to near crackfic levels. Let's hope it really is all just a prank. Otherwise, jimmies might get jammed.
Re:Harmoney updates with a glimmer of hope that maybe, just maybe, the Crystal Empire arc is finally at its end.
A Device for Divine updates with an incredibly confusing chapter. I have no idea what's going on and can only hope that the murkiness fades soon before we hit Double Rainbow levels of confusion.
Possible favorites? Where?!
I decide to scratch the “everyone dies” grimdark itch and favorite Hypernova. Hilarity, “who wants to live forever,” and type II supernovas will no doubt ensue. Probability of [Grimdark] ending: 100%.

Yeah, I was not thrilled with Rites-Celestia. Evidently, neither was the editor. Or anyone else, looking at more recent comments.
