Looking for general feedback on the Galeforce series

I'm curious to know, now that I have completed two stories and am working on the third: what do you think of them as a reader?

Some questions I would like to ask:

I realize that my story is definitely not fanfic in the traditional sense (only two of the Mane 6 have made an appearance, as well as the Cutie Mark Crusaders), but does it still seem like a FiM-worthy story?

Is the story too violent for your tastes, or not violent enough for it's "Dark" rating?

Does Galeforce seem like a (male) Mary Sue?

Finally, I would like to know what you think of my characterization of the villains (Ahuizotl, Gustave/Talon, and the Flim Flam brothers). I took a lot of liberties with the way I portrayed them, and would like to know if it works or not.
