For some time now my good friend and editor, Honey Mead, has been working away on a little project set within the Myths setting. His story is in many regards a prequel to Myths, and a sequel to Longest Night, while focusing on Canterlot, Cadence, and the palace staff--especially the seneschal--during Luna's return. He goes into far more detail than I do, or feel capable of handling, in regards to the minutia of the operations of the palace and politics.
A few of the characters he introduces have even wiggled their way into the rewrite of Myths. Festive Dust in particular.
Also, it opens with Sol! Who can't love that dense, huggable ball of energy?!
Edit: Oh, and I'm getting really close to needing a few pre-readers to go over a new story I've been working on for... about a year. Maybe a little longer... I've made mention of it here and there over the past few months. A little darker than my normal offerings. Just looking for flow and to see if it is interesting enough. :3
