Giving up

I'm seriously thinking about stopping writing stories, about dropping The Rider's Legacy. I can barely write 1000 words per chapter while other people can easily write up to 6000 words. I'm stuck on this chapter and I feel the story is rushed and not very good. If anyone would like to take ownership of The Rider's Legacy and continue writing it, let me know and be my guest. I'm still debating but I'm seriously considering just being a reader and not a writer.

I feel you. I'm currently in the same boat, and cannot make myself throw up a full chapter of my stories. Not only the ones here, but also the non pony related ones on Fanfiction. I quite honestly have no idea how all these amazing authors come out with these massive chapters on a regular basis. Normally I'd say never give up, but I'm having the same problems. Do whatever you think is right. If someone wants to continue the story for you, by all means let them take over, but if not, I won't think any less of you, and I doubt anyone else would either.
