    Wow!

I never thought that one of my stories would be so popular, much less be featured. Thank you all for the support, feedback, and even criticism. As I will be heading out of town for the holidays soon and preparing over the next few days for my trip, I won't be updating for a little bit. Don't worry, I will be back to writing, prosing, and updating by the middle of next week and will still be doing

Inactivity, Hiatus, and the future · 1:22am Apr 9th, 2014

So, a friend of mine directed me back here, saying people were still commenting on some of my stories.

Lo and behold, they were right.

I'd like to preface this blog with an apology. I'm sorry for my lack of activity and communication over the past year. Life has a funny way of throwing curve balls when you least expect them. Early last year I managed to land a very good position with a very good company after a period of unemployment that, to be honest, was scaring the shit out of me. Bills and loan payments were piling up, and my savings were running dry. The offer came like a bolt from the blue and I took it.

Adjusting to full-time after almost half a year of part-time and then unemployment, especially in a 'professional' setting is a shock to the system (especially when this was all pretty much straight out of college) All my thoughts became focused on work, and the little time I had to myself to stay sane. Time that, sadly, wasn't focused on writing.

Eventually I would look at my stories and forget where I was going with them, what I had planned, how I wanted them to end, and eventually I stopped trying to piece it all together. I had other admittedly more important things I needed to be thinking about, like the future and my job, and an unforeseen medical issue with a close family member.

But in the back of my mind this place, my readers, and my stories were still in my thoughts.

To keep this from running on (no doubt it already has) I'll close with this:

Thank you. All of you. I never expected my work to blow up like it did, to have so many fans, and to be able to have worked in such an interesting setting, concept, and medium.

Unfortunately I cannot as of now continue with my stories, nor do I see myself in a position to do so in the future like I did in the past. Its disappointing, and I know I am letting down many people who might have wanted to see more, or at least a conclusion to my stories. For that I am very, very sorry. If life happens to throw another curve-ball and I find myself in a position to write again...well, who knows. For now though, I'm on indefinite hiatus.

I value the people I've met along the way and will look back at all of this with a smile. Thank you all.

it was fun while it lasted, good luck out there.
*salutes*

Hey, when life gives you lemons, you juice the living crap out of them. But still, thanks for letting us know that you're not dead XD

Glad to see you're still alive. Saddened that you won't be updating anything anytime soon, but not angry in the least.

So all I can say is hope life continues to treat you great... and here's to hoping you will return to the magical land of ponies sometime in the future.

Good luck out there, man. We'll never stop rooting for you.

Atleast you gave us a message instead of just letting us stay in the dark, salutes and good luck with your life!

I've enjoyed your work immensely, both on your pastebin and here. Better days, man.

See you, space cowboy. ;_;7

It sucks, I know. But hey, better to work hard and achieve happiness in real life rather than satisfy a bunch of strangers on a pony fanfic site. :rainbowwild:

Well, it was fun while it lasted. Sure, this isn't a real conclusion, but no more staring at the same story labeled "Incomplete", and waiting for the next update.
Thanks for this.
