I finally figure out the editor progress! · 10:22am Apr 7th, 2014
After a while, I figured out how to get editors for my fics: send a chapter to one of them, they edit some stuff out or tell me what I did wrong, and they send it back revised or I got to revise it myself. Either way, I finally figured it out!
Of course, I will still keep having time off for a while. I say a week will do so for things to die down around here.
You just figured that out?
That was quick.

That's a good idea. I haven't post any of my stories here because I'm worried that I might get thumbs down or bad comments.

Hey, I didn't realize it until recently, okay? Throw me a bone here.

It isn't exactly rocket science, JusSonic. If you actually followed anyone's advice and went looking for a beta reader/editor they would have told you what to do from the get go.

Well, no one told me that I have to send an editor a chapter through PM.

An editor would have told you what to do. Why are making this sound harder than it actually is?

Look, I am not making it hard. I didn't even know about the whole thing because I was having trouble figuring that part out before.

If you didn't know what to do then you should've just asked. It's not that hard, bro.

Just try it. If it gets a thumbs up then you're doing something right in your story but if you're getting a thumbs down for no reason then you're doing something wrong.
I also recommend not to use so many OCs or pairings with the main canon characters. Also, the story must not alter the main canon storyline greatly.
I don't mean to nag, this is just some words of advice. I know, I've been there.

Guys, seriously, can we stop with the back and forth? True, Jus could've gone for help earlier, but there's no need to make mountains out of molehills, so to speak.

Seconded; if anything, you can PM me for Beta Reading / questions.
