So... I'm sure you all are going to kill me over the latest chapter.
Ahem.
Anyway, I've gotten some peeps messaging me about my family life because that was a major part of my writing (or lack thereof) so I figure I should update you. I have a female roommate lined up, who just needs to find a job. So that's good news. The sooner I can move out the better.
I also moved up in my job, taking over the position of office clerk/order desk for someone who was there since the companies inception (almost as long as I've been alive!) so no pressure. No pressure at all.
I've been in that position since... February? I think I'm doing fairly well, but there is a lot of stuff I need to go over tomorrow (Monday) with my boss. I just hope I do okay. I'm hoping to talk to my boss' husband, who is a co-owner, about getting a raise. He'll probably direct me back to my boss lady, but he can plant the idea in her head. It's nice Mon-Fri 9-5 - so the income is steady if not where I want to be. I'm only making $11.25 when I should be making at least $13 for this job. Those small dollars add up big time!
I'm really excited about the roommate prospect, but I'm really hoping she gets stable income soon, I'm dying to get out of here.
