I can now honestly say I can see the appeal to FIMfiction.net. Despite the heavy differences in this site and my previous mediums, I find myself coming back here more and more. I suppose the fact that ninety percent of the stories I read are kept here adds to my constant returns.
Now this means I have three versions with which to keep updated - Google Docs, fanfiction, and FIMfic. Maybe I should add deviantart to the mix and reach out to my older audience. I dunno, we'll see.
I suppose I just wanted to take a moment to appreciate the tidings this site offers. I'm certain I haven't explored every nook and cranny that's available to me, but from what I *have* seen, I doubt I'll be left wanting.
On that note, I'd like to thank SatoshiKyu for reminding me of this site's existence, and thus giving me the push I needed to send my work here. Thank you.
That's all I have for tonight. Go read.

Aw shucks, 'twern't nuthin big. Just friends helpin' friends, amirite?

Now that I think about it, you may have wanted to release your chapters once every few days or so, so the story could get properly featured. Too little too late, I suppose, but it only just occurred to me. This newest chapter (which I am about to read) will put the story back up at the top of the list so people can see it, so that should help, but methinks it might have been a good idea to do that from the outset.
127664 Yeah, I was debating whether or not I wanted to do that. I decided to simply let bygones be bygones, and allow the FIM-dedicated readers have everything instead of waiting on me.
One moral standard I have: I hate having people waiting for me.
127670
Alright, if you're not concerned, I suppose it doesn't much matter. And I must say I am fond of that particular outlook--I myself am easily irritated by being made to wait. I've tried the whole writing schtick, so I know how difficult it can be to get out a chapter in pretty much any set amount of time, so I'm rather lenient when it comes to stories and the like.
Waiting at traffic lights and behind slow-moving cars? UNENDING RAGE.
127684 ALL OF MY HATE.
I feel the same way, both toward the slow-moving "grandma drivers" and the idiotic "I-own-this-road" kids behind wheels. Mainly toward the idiots, because let's face it, idiot drivers are why I'm paying so much for insurance.
Now if only I could say my OWN record was clean.
127698
My record is still clean, actually. And though it would make driving more dangerous and my insurance would skyrocket, I would much rather we replace the grandma drivers with some hothead in a shitty old Buick (for some reason, a lot of guys my age in this area have ancient, beat-up Buicks; I think maybe it's a conspiracy against new cars and good taste). I'd fear for my life while on the road, but damned if I wouldn't get to my destination in a timely manner!

'Kay so, after being interrupted by dinner, I finally got to that certain part of this latest chapter that we talked about.
You know the one.
It was exactly what I pictured in my head when I mentioned it in my pm. Perfect down to the very last letter. I don't know who you've got scanning my brainwaves, but he deserves a medal the size of the MOON. Even Celestia and Luna's role in it was pretty much just as I envisioned; Luna was obviously the one to deal with the spellwork, and only Celestia would have the required power and mastery of Troll-Fu to swoop in and 'save' the day.
"Umad, Rainbow Dash?"
:rainbowrage:
127957 Ahaha, uhm, it was totally unintentional...the scanning of your brainwaves, of course. Heheh, I mean, it's not like I have ninja-pirate-assassin-robots stalking you outside your window right at this very moment, watching you read this sentence.
It's good to know I was able to deliver on what you envisioned. I'm glad, really - that scene was pretty difficult to write, mostly because I was struggling with the myriad of details I was having to keep up with.
Troll-Fu. *Snerk* There should be a movie with that.
128012
The lead villain of that movie should be an undefeated martial-arts champion named Tofu. He would be the sole practitioner of a little-known style called Troll-Fu. The story is one man's struggle for honor, glory, and recognition in the ring, pitting him against one nigh-unbeatable foe after another...
"You don't wanna mess with Tofu's Troll-Fu, dawg. He will Fuck. You. Up." - Random Tofu supporter
"Don't let him get you mad, bro--once he's got you mad, he's already won!" - Protagonist's Personal Trainer
"STOP ASKING IF I'M MAD AND FIGHT ME, DAMMIT!" - Protagonist
Coming to theaters December 22, 2012...
128056 *The Avengers: Eighty-million gross sales on opening day*
*Troll-Fu: Sixty-billion-double-dollars net sales on opening day*
Get outta my way, Bruce Banner.
128082
Too bad opening day is just after the word is supposed to end. ONOES! How could something so trivial as the end of all we know and love come between a director and his masterpiece?! Ancient Aztec Voodoo Magic, that's how! The fiends...
128099 I believe you mean the Mayans. Archaic Mayan Divine Hokus-Pokus!
Confound these prophets, they drive me to death. -_-;
128116
Fuck. Yeah, I totally meant the Mayans.
BUT HOW DO WE KNOW IT WASN'T THE INCAS, INSTEAD?! Or, maybe...
An amazingly ancient conspiracy of awfully archaic civilizations!
Dun dun dunnnnnn
128136
Heheh. I'm goin' to bed.
128154
Heh, me too--running back and forth between your blog posts has tired me right the hell out!
Cheers!
