So the Flim Flam brothers were back. Applejack fibbed (OHMAHGERD) and everyone (pony) learned a lesson. Seeing this episode reminds me of the items we as humans used to sell, these 'placebo' effect tonics. Coca Cola ring a bell? When it first came out, it was labled as a tonic to cure various ailments before becoming a extremely popular soda it is today. I can't think of another item, but some foods and drinks were at one point sold by people in similar clothing and finesse as the Flim Flam brothers.
