Meanwhile in alternate Equestria...
It is lovely night, Luna's moon glowing in the sky. Everything seemed peaceful.
Then, out in the distance, a faint glow emerged. At first it was small, but as the minutes passed, it grew larger and larger.
The Palace Guards looked at each other in confusion, wondering what it could possible be cause such a thing on a lovely night.
Then, they heard it. It first started as dull roar, growing louder and louder.
There the guard saw, a large mob holding torches approaching the palace gates.
At first, the Guard wondered why there were no pitchforks. Was there a sudden shortage of pitchforks, and that is why said mob formed with a lack of pitchforks?
But alas, the Guard only wish it was that. They not knew the horror that awaited them
Because it was no ordinary Tuesday mob, no. It is a mob of mares, all wanting a piece of LordSolaris.
The guard is doomed.
There is no hope.
Only me gusta...

Hopefully, I will be working on the new chapter of Under the Sun's Wings this week. In the meantime, hopefully Lord Solaris will be enough so far. There needs to be some manliness to counteract all the cuteness of Equestria...

But Nightrise should be explanatory as to how Nightmare Moon fits in all my other books, and still be good at the same time. Hmm, Luna or Nightmare Moon?

In my head I've pictured Solaris Looking older... Kinda early thirtys for men, Strong and powerful, A red beard, maybe a wider body. Never thought of him as a slender pretty boy...

I said no on the beard because if his mane and tail are supposed to be firey, wouldnt that make his beard do the same? It, it didnt make sense to me. That or it was too silly of a thought of to a flowly mane AND beard XD.
I didn't want to make him too wide, since he is already taller than everyone else. Didn't want him freakishly large.
Also, Evehly made this pic, so she made it the way she wanted to. If you see her other artwork, you can see her style. Personally, I like this pic. I didn't want Solaris to have a too hard/harsh look. His personality takes care of that so XD.

I just pictured him myself kinda, Gruff, Perhaps not a full beard but stubble and such... I've an over active imaganation lol
