So, today I decided to venture through the adventure section of FIMFiction and try and find an interesting story to read. I also decided I'd try to find a story with good ol' Doctor Whooves (Or is it Time Turner?) as the main character. I didn't want to deal with any 'The Doctor in Equestria' stories, so I turned off the crossover section and ran in head first to the depths of the internet.

And guess what just about every story was about?
If you guessed 'A Story about Roseluck being the Dark Empress of Manehatten', then I must question your sanity and meet you to come up with story ideas with, because that's an awesome idea.
No, instead it was the same damn thing, over and over and overandoverandoverandover!

Now, before I have a vast legion of pissed off fans at my throats, let me explain.
Not that it's gonna stop them.
I like, no, LOVE Doctor Who. It's well written, has incredible characters and is able to give off compelling drama while still being able to be witnessed by kids (although not even close enough to being simple enough for them to remember what the Hell is going on).
So, why do I dislike the idea then? I like Ponies, I like Doctor Who, what's wrong with both?
Well, that's the thing: I do like the idea. I adore Pony in a Box productions Doctor Whooves Adventures audioplay, I love the fanart, I love the stories where has a complete 10th style "WHAT!?" To his new body (although seriously people, he was good, but can you stop fangirling over him? Tom Baker was best Doctor).
But for me, it's became too much of a good thing. An idea that was, at one point, an original idea, has became dried out and BORING! (for the most part)
Which is why I'm planning to change this. I'm going to write a story with 'Doctor Whooves' (or Time Turner), and it will involve time travel.
But it's not going to be a Space Opera. No, it'll be more Victorian in shape.

lol you just jelly. can't take a joke, can you? I wasn't actually being serious. What idiot would think that? I was making a JOKE, and since you mentioned Tom Baker and I just happen to be wearing a fourth doctor costume I look at myself and go "oh you mean me?" to be funny.
