What a way to end the series. From a story-crafting standpoint, I have some complaints about how the final two-parter got rolling, and the resolution isn't how I'd have handled it.
The overall execution, however, and especially the final final episode, were wonderful.

Storm-chased complete and changed

I put up the last chapter of Order-naries: Storm-chased a couple days ago. After looking at it, though, I found myself dissatisfied with the last couple paragraphs, so I've gone back and replaced them with a new, better-paced scene. One that I think works better for Ash and Rarity meeting the dust has mostly settled.

The Distant Epilogue Won't Leave Me Alone · 3:53am Mar 28th, 2014

I need to finish Naboreal because a dramatic reading of Sohndar is in the works as we speak.
I need to finish a Pony's Heart because it's technically my current Order-naries pony-verse project.
I need to complete a draft of an Order-naries book so I can try to be a serious published author.
I have a persistent load of things to write for college.

But I can't stop myself from brainstorming for a fic set in the distant future of the Order-naries pony-verse. The one I sorta pitched back in January.
It's got an all-new cast of dysfunctional "friends" possibly destined to inherit the Elements of Harmony. It's got the products of interspecies romances. It's got a potential love triangle. It's got invaders from another universe.
It's premise also has major spoilers for A Pony's Heart and a significant endpoint for the Order-naries time-line.
This is going to be like Order-naries: Redux all over again: an idea I'm not 100% OK with writing but won't skvetchte leave my mind until I indulge it.
