I've read the story on Wikipedia. It's nothing special.
1947294 Yeah...I think it's mostly because Gone Home had a unique feel to it and came from an then-unknown source while Ground Zero's was the next game in a critically-acclaimed series of famous games.
The bar was set incredibly high between the two.
