Just your average british lad. I write things for a living. It’s the strangest living you’ll ever find, second only to my inability to take myself off of the grid.

Shadow Reviews, Episode 7: For Whom The Sweetie Belle Tolls · 3:28pm Mar 22nd, 2014

Well, well, well, Looks like Polsky's taken the hint after that abysmal Twilight Time review, let's see how this makes me change my opinion on him...

First of all, it is great to be calling back so many names from Season 1, the only season where I could pinpoint the end to all episodes without having to watch them. So apparently, Rarity has another order to fill for Sapphire Shores, you know, the gal from A Dog And Pony Show? But anyways, first of all, Damn, Sweetie does not like being upstaged. Remind me never to cosplay as Diamond Tiara when I go to see her.

First off, apparently, everypony in Equestria only admires ponies for their dresses when their on stage, that's kind of fucked up if you ask me. I mean, I saw Wicked and I was more amazed by the Songs, Acting and even the Characters used in the show. Other than that, the fact that Sweetie just refuses to accept this and goes on a dress killing spree, drastically bumped up the severity of the plot. Never, EVER praise ponies for their dresses, people, lest you want Sweetie coming round.

Anyways, then comes Luna, acting high and mighty as best princess as always. This was foretold and it played out very well in the overall execution, Luna being the voice of doom and apparently being able to tell the future makes me wonder if Twilight, Celestia and Cadence are just canon for the true princess of awesome. Anyways, if Luna can tell the future, then maybe she can give me closure on a few things I've wanted to see come true, but that will come later.

Finally, the ending comes round with the, sneak backstage crap and the robbing of the ruined article of clothing, cliche. But that's beside the point, Sweetie needed time to fix the headpiece, and she thought that this was the easiest way to buy time, when she could have easily lit off a smoke bomb or some firecrackers and that would have avoided the chase scene. Then the revelation came to me, Sapphire loves dolphins, Someone get me Paleosteno!!! These two were made for each other!!! Seriously!!!

So Luna can also know what ponies like just by delving into their dreams as well. Jeez, talk about extreme stalking, huh. But still, it was cute, it was nice, and overall, it was a sisters episode. So you know it's good, unlike that Applejack crap two weeks ago! God.

My Final Verdict: 8/10
Dave's stepping up his game now!

NEXT WEEK'S REVIEW: Leap Of Faith

I'm cautiously optimistic about Flim and Flam's return.

Um...weren't all the episodes done before they were aired? Just thought I'd point that out...:twilightblush:

Yes, Luna is best princess.
