Hurt my dumb self today

My left ring finger got shut in a heavy metal door.
Bruised up and started bleeding under the nail, which led to more swelling.
Went to the ER and they drilled three holes in the nail so the space under could drain.
Had an X-ray done, nothing broken or fractured.
Now I'm waiting for the nail to come off on it's own.
And yes; they gave me something for the swelling and pain.

Owww, that must hurt. I feel ya, well... not exactly considering I don't remember the pain, but when I was really young, about 2-3, my finger got shut in the hinges of a heavy door... my fingertip is a bit flater than the rest now, and I still have scars from the stiches.
