Alright, You Win... · 11:21pm Mar 17th, 2014
With 50 something people begging/insisting I create a continuation of Numbers...
I've finally given in.
Congratulations, you win, I'm giving you my promise I will write a sequel...
When? Probably not for another few weeks... I'm not lying when I say I've got a lot going on right now, and with 3 long-runners already going, I"m not about to jump into this one right away. I suppose this will have to push back the release date for Into the Everfree too... curses.
So, yea, it will be a separate story, and probably either a really long one-shot, or a short multi-chapter story.
And this is a reminder to myself to stop writing stories with vague endings.
...This isn't the first time this has happened.

Feel honored that so many people requested a sequel. It shows they love your writing style.

Oh, I am honored.
I just hate pushing back new releases.
I may not have asked for a sequel, but I am glad we are getting one.
Take it as the highest form of praise, people love to read your work.
More than I can say about my own,I mean hooray!1934154
Point taken.
I am so happy! :)
It is praise when people beg for more, and you should revel in that. But if you feel like you can't write it, or feel like it won't be quite up to par if you do...
Don't.

I admit, I can't be sure if a sequel will be as good as the original, but I did have some idea of what I might like to do with this, so I'm not just shooting in the dark.
I don't really have a problem with leaving readers wanting more, but when an overwhelming number of people felt that the story didn't have a real resolution, I feel like that requires my attention.
