Some Plans and a question: · 5:46pm Mar 15th, 2014
Okay, after some long and hard (no not really) thinking, this is what I'm going to do:
- Princeps will be its own AAG substory and will be rewritten and released once I complete Polarity (which I will, really!)
In its place, you're going to get a few new BH stories:
- Button Mash, all-grown up and his life in HE
- Indigo Horizons and something she's come across that changes her life
- On a vacation to Hawaii, Spike runs into something that he hadn't expected
- Generic, vague explanations get you to read this sentence
All of this will be coming soon, presuming I don't kill myself in the process. And for those who were waiting for the finale to Princeps...the original one wasn't that good. The story will be much better the second time around.
And because some people are confuzzled in thinking that Be Human is all one story instead of an anthology, one of my editors, who thinks that I apparently don't have enough on my plate, thinks I need to add an index to the description. Think it needs one? Comment below.
Dunno about an index. Maybe just a blurb in an author comment to the beginning of the first chapter explaining it's an anthology.
An index with short descriptions of what each story is about actually sounds like a rather good idea.
Well, I can't complain about having more AAG-related awesomeness to read. Keep up the good work, Shinz, but don't burn yourself out in the process.

No worries, I have no plans to have a mental breakdown on stage while complaining that the other members of Deerhunter have all found their own paths to happiness while I've developed monomania and release tons of songs as Atlas Sound while slowly mentally deterioriating an--

The only thing that the side stories really needs is a slightly better divider for each of them, but otherwise, its a clear and concise bit of navigation. Either a parallel to when it corresponds in story, or other aspect that you could see working. That is about all I can see right on-hand.
An index could be nice, but I don't see it as particularly necessary. Put it on the back burner.
All of this combined with whatever non pony projects you have on the go? Jeez, you're really keeping yourself busy!
As a guy who has yet to read any of the side stories, I admit that some sort of index would be incredibly helpful. Of course, I'm going to get around to them (I really mean it!) either way, so whatever is easier for you I guess!
