Inkitt contest and starting writing again!

    Hello all!

Great news! I just got a random message informing me about an Inkitt writing contest that's sparked my interest. It was also related to the first MLP:FiM story I ever submitted; "A Change of Weather" which I thought I'd never hear from again.

    And the story continues

    Hello everybody,

I finally managed to get my laptop with all my writing notes fixed, so now I can get back on track with all of my chapter updates.

Speaking of which, I also just submitted the newest chapter of my story: "Mind Games" I know the gap between the chapters has been a lot greater this time around, but it's still just picking up where the pattern left off. Enjoy!

Computer issues and chapter delay =(

    Hey there everybody,

I'm sorry to say, but I won't be making any new chapters for "Mind Games" this weekend or next. My computer that I've been using, and the one that had all of my notes crashed on me, and I had to send it in to get fixed. Hopefully it will get fixed sooner though, as I don't like breaking my rhythm of submissions after this long.

Hello everyone(pony), or anyone(pony) reading this.

This may very well be the first blog that I have ever made...period, but I thought that I'd give it a try here. I'm not quite sure where I'll go with this, if anywhere, but I guess I might as well see what I can do.

Since my time on this site began, I've written three stories (well technically one, with another on hiatus, and the last one still on-going), and I hope to make more in the future, or at least as long as I can. I've enjoyed writing them, and I am very appreciative to the comments (both good and bad), view, likes, and even dislikes. I would've thought that what I've made so far would just be dwarfed by the bigger (main/non-mainstream?) stories that end up on the front page, but I'm happy that they've somehow been able to find their way to someone's search, or stay on the "New stories" section long enough for someone to find them.

To anyone that follows me, or cares, my only regret is my posting schedule. Since I work a full time job (8 to 24 hours a day at times, a week), I really only get to post/write a new story/chapter on the weekends. While, sure, I could write a little bit throughout the week, and then post whenever I finish, I like to be able to just sit down and write, until I'm done. Some might consider it lazy, but I've found it to be much more productive than earlier stories/fanfics that I've written in the past. That's not to say that there will always be something new each week, but that the chances are better to see an update from me on the weekends, rather than during the weekdays.

Now, with that out of the way, I'd like to offer a bit of a service. No, not fan-service, but I could attempt to write a story in that style if someone wants me to.

While I don't hold a Masters Degree in Literature, in my time of writing, I've found that I'm very good at critiquing (mostly grammar and formatting), and I hope that it shows in my writing (both in my stories, and things like this here). I'm more than willing, and happy, to review anyone's stories, or possible drafts, so that I can help to make others better writers, and to help them produce better, and more enjoyable stories, for both themselves, and others. I don't know if there's already a process here to do something like that, but I'll say to just leave a comment to a story, or send me a message, and I'll respond as soon as I can.

Finally, story ideas; either for me, or for you, the readers. Everything I've written so far has been, more or less, a spur of the moment idea that I've acted upon. I'm normally not this creative, so I'd be more than happy to accept ideas for future stories of mine, or concepts for a commission for me to write for someone (free of course). I'd like to continue my "Journal" story again at some point, and I've given a little thought to continue my "Change of Weather" story as well, but inspiration hasn't hit yet.

Well, I'd say that about wraps everything up for this post. Thank you to any/all that read this, and I hope to make more in the future.
