My Reading Criteria (a "What I look for" and preference list)

Everyone has their own likes and dislikes when it comes to stories, even a few.... annoyances or turn offs. Mine are simple. Stories that involve nothing but sex or stories that have sentences from what looks like elementary students work, I avoid because i find then ridiculous.

Take the sex or "Clop" stories, What purpose do they hold other than to sate someones fetish because they're not getting any out in the real life. Now there are a scant few out there who Wrote "clop" fics as a fill-in to another of their fics. Anonymous Pegasus is one example. By writing stories with suggestive themes and innuendos then giving the reader the option of reading the finer details in a separate page. I love that idea!

Then there are stories that Give a brief sexual encounter, that's fine. I can read those without getting to uncomfortable.

But the ones that are all about the sex with no storyline whatsoever...WHAT THE HAY IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!

My second issue are those that look like a kindergarten wrote them. The single, short, incomplete sentences of those stories are simply nerve racking!
Along with this topics are certain sequels. You read the first story and its awesome, but the sequel, by the same person, is just....pitiful.., as if they let their 10 yr old sibling write it.

My next topics are more of annoyances and they are those tagged "human", and rushed one-pagers.
The "human" tag..., It's acceptable for me if the storyline is somewhat similar to Equestra Girls

The rushed works..., some are bearable seeing as they have like "Five years later", thats fine... Compassion by Comet Burst is a Fine Example of an even paced one-pager story, offering a normal line of events from the opening to the end.

Thats all I have for now, I've been meaning to create this Blog as a way to let Authors know my reasons for favoring and/or liking their works.
