I finally got a dislike on Legends of Equestria. Over the course of this story existing, I had yet to get more than zero dislikes, until today. I always use dislikes as a way to tell myself that I'm not the best I can be, and since I didn't have any on the aforementioned story, it made me feel like I was doing everything perfectly.
Thank you mystery dislike giver. I wish to one day meet you and ask your reason for giving me my dislike, in order to improve to your satisfaction.
I hate dislikes...
But what would make them not as bad, is if people told us why they disliked so we can improve just like you sad. If it was mandatory to comment on why you're giving a dislike I would be much happier with the dislike button. Cause I would be able to improve my writing at all times!
There are those who don't like certain genres. Perhaps they didn't like the fact that it was a game that made it realistic. Or the fact that they hate some of the personalities of the characters.

To be honest, I wouldn't enjoy that. The only people who would dislike a story then, would be those who were a part of (for example) the I just want a comment group, as a reviewer. Almost everybody else would be too lazy to comment on the story, if you had to tell the author why you disliked it.
Maybe it's me being an idiot, maybe I'm right, but I just don't really like that idea.

I do agree, while I hate dislikes, they do help motivate me to improve. I always can improve!

The one story he has published currently, which I was so tempted to put in the Commentator/Review group, was actually pretty good for his first. He suffers from something I've been puzzled by, known as having more favorites than likes.
1894508 Yeah.... I'm confused by that as well... My Crusade story has like 135 favs and 95 likes... I guess it makes sense though. People faved so then can get updates on the story to see where it goes... and as I update if they enjoy it they will give the story a like.

1894497 I did a few miss and turns on the first 3 chapters and the first one was barely over the 1000 word limit. I say I did pretty bad for a novice.
1894514 Oh and your Diamond Tiara story, I remember one of the LoHAV members wrote a few chapters about her changing because of the baddy. It was the one with the metal darth vader.
