In order to get more, and better AppleDashLight, we're extending the deadline by two weeks!
You all have until the 15th of March to finish the fic, or polish it to a shine! You can submit it unfinished too, but it really has to stand out in that case to have a chance ;)

... Not going to lie. After busting my butt to get my entry done by March 1, I'm kind of upset that the deadline is being extended.

We (the judges) just want to see the best entries we can. Might be worth investing the time in final proofreading and whatnot to make it perfect?

As the sun rose a strange sight greeted the citizens of Ponyville. Towering over the town library was a gigantic jar of, if the label could be believed, raspberry jelly. Unsure if this was a mass hallucination or just another discorded day a few intrepid ponies gathered around.
A few faintly visible shapes could be seen moving through the viscus contents of the glass jar. Moving closer and peering inside one brave pony gasped in horror.
"I see three mares inside, and what they are doing is disgusting."
"What are they doing?", asked the crowd of ponies, "We dare not look ourselves."
"They're making..."
"They're making..."
"They're making...the blue one watch while they eat cake."

Because I used slightly stilted oldly style speech combined with the horror of being denied
pancakes which would fit some stereotypes for Luna and Celestia.Extension? Yippee! Now I might actually be able to post the second chapter of my entry in time...maybe. Still waiting on pre-readers to finish with the first chapter.
