It's been awhile. When I started this process so long ago, my life was very different. The fandom was very different. I'm so very, very happy with all the attention this piece has received, all the encouragement your posts have sent me. Thank you.

If you decided to never read this, never upvote it, never leave me any sort of feedback on what you liked (or didn't like!), it's very likely the entire course of my life would be different right now. It's thanks to you, that after three years, I am still coming back to this story.
So, good news, everyone! All those obstacles in my life that has prevented me from touching this story again are gone! Starting Monday, I'll be writing more Paradise.
Wait, stop. 
There's more. Remember what I said at the beginning? Fandom is different, my life is different, my priorities are different. So, there is more to this announcement.
I'm going to write two* more Paradise chapters under the current story outline. That's one, and then one more. *As long as I'm doing my mental math right and projecting the current estimated length. I believe it'll be about two chapters.
After two* more chapters, I'll be at a nice little spot to leave you guys hanging. That should buy me time to give Paradise's early chapters a renovation. Make it into something familiar, but new and I hope better for us all in the end.
So, as I said three years ago, Paradise will be completed. But it might not be in the form you or I originally thought it'd be that long ago.

That is excellent news! I'm not quite sure how you intend to improve on the early chapters, cause they're already pretty awesome, but I'll look forward to being pleasantly surprised. (Even if that whole "the fandom is different," thing has a vaguely ominous ring to it.)

Yay for perservering through all of the stuff you had to that got you back to a point where you can write!
Don't know if I like the idea of you going back and changing stuff in the early chapter. Those things are usually death flags for stories especially when the writer went in hiatus before that.
If it's just grammar and spelling touch ups go for it, if it is actually reworking I'll be hoping for the best.

I'm not sure about changing the stuff that's already written. (Unless it's small grammar changes and such)
Because A: That means I have to read the whole story again (Something that I'm not opposed to - Look at my user page)
and B: Other stories have screwed it up in the past. Making the story worse in my opinion. (TTEOAP)
But either way, I'm glad it's alive, and I'll tell you the same thing I tell all the authors I've preread / edited for. - It's your story. You do what you feel is best.

I was beginning to give up. I'm glad to hear things are working out.
Paradise was one of the first ponyfics I read, and it hooked me me very quickly. It strongly reminded me of Watership Down which certainly helped. I love the idea of Celestia and Luna coming from that early time before there was even such a thing as civilisation to bits. They have seen everything that is pony civilisation as it grew up from nothing. It's that kind of primal knowledge that makes them feel special and more worth of being virtual gods the idea of them growing up in a castle somewhere.

Its good to hear that the story will continue. It was actually the very first story I read in the fandom back in 2010, and I've been following it since. It is one of my all time favorites as I've said several times, even back in the EQD comments when it was just a Google Doc.
I've been anticipating this.
I am exceptionally glad to hear the news! Paradise has long been one of my most favorite stories, and it would only be fitting to see it end properly.

You have no idea how much i like this fic, it is very original, and the way you build the world is simply beautiful. There is something special about this story being set in the equivalent of the stone age. It feels like a whole new place. And i love it.
You'll be renovating the older chapters?
Might I ask what exactly you mean by that? I mean, I'm sure you won't be actually changing the way the story goes, since that would make the next couple chapters you write either not make sense until the renovations are done, or else require changes of their own. In either circumstance, the writing of the next few chapters before the renovations would serve little purpose.

I only heard of this fic so far and never read it, but when I read it, I prefer to read it in the way it was written in the early days of the fandom when you began with it.

The main storyline won't change. I'm going to be rooting through it, trying to decide what goes no where, what needs to be added, maybe some names will change, some lore. Can't be more specific yet.
So, you may want to read it's original form, if the "as written in the early days of the fandom" is of high value to you. Either way, the main thrusts of the original and the new one will be similar.

Why do you not publish a revamped version of the older chapters as new story here?
I never read "Paradise" so far, but what I heard of it, it is one of the first big and epic fanfictions that were written in the brony fandom and I'm sure many bronies want that this historical piece stays as it is.
