A Concerned Message...

Hey everyone, Thebosh98 here.

Now, I have something important to say concerning my story 'Forgotten People'. It's been getting a good reputation with quite a few likes, favourites and over 500 views, which I am very pleased with.

But frankly, I'm bored of writing it.

Alongside my fast-paced writing style, I also write spontaneously, in other words I make it up as I go along. For the first part of my saga, it worked quite well and I was pleased with the result of it. It's only recently that since I've planned the next 4 parts to the saga that I've become bored of writing. Maybe it's because it's too much work for me, or its because my life is becoming more and more busy because of my upcoming iGCSE exams and the revision I will have to start doing soon, and the pressures of coursework and homework. Another reason is that friends who read my story kept pressuring me to write more chapters when I didn't have time, giving me new ideas (which I didn't like) and saying 'Y U NO UPLOAD CHAPTER...' I hated this because then I couldn't be original. Thanks mates, you've contributed to my boredom and detest for writing. There's no nice way of saying that.

I barely ever upload any blog posts, so I decided to make this one because I think it's about time that I spit it out. In addition, as you also know, my chapters come out very slowly because I don't have time to write them. And a combination of not wanting to write and not having time to write at all can only lead to once conclusion:

I want to stop altogether.

That's right, I'm thinking of quitting writing. It's been a fun ride, but now it's time to get off it. After all, why do something you don't enjoy? Some of you may just say 'meh' and quit reading this post. Others might say 'Why? It's good!' but I do seriously want to stop. This 5-part saga is going nowhere and I don't wish to continue it. Plus the fact that in November last year I stopped being a Brony altogether, so that didn't really help either.

Thank you to everyone who read the story, liked it and favourited it. If I feel like writing a new story, it'll probably only be a one-shot. But that's it. I'm not writing and huge stories anymore. I'm sorry to say it, but it's what I want to do.
