Tomorrow is day 15 we've been out of school because of snow. I don't even know. It feels like we missed December completely because the last snow system that came through was between Thanksgiving break and Christmas break; Now it's been predicted that we're getting out biggest snowstorm yet on Monday, only this one will have ice in it. Low temp each day: 4 degrees. High: 12-19. (-.-')

It's gotten to where, if we give up two days of spring break, our school district is going to apply to the state for a waver so we don't have to make up so many days. Because this is ridiculous.

Ive been hearing about this constantly. I offer the internet's sympathy (even though i have never seen snow), but from the amount of complaining i hear from people up in Canada down to Alabama it must be bad.
So what are said options:
1. re enact hearts warming eve
2. Find a new hemisphere
3. Build bigger fire
either that or Ill send you something warm from down in this blistering Aussie heat.

Snow is beautiful in person.
Hay, just pretend your being covered by multiple white blankets every day and they are warming you up, it isn't that bad and you can escape school as well! I have another huge snowstorm on sunday, after the snowstorm on Tuesday that gave us a wednsday snow day.

1806537 Yes, we get to escape school, but after missing so many days, we start to go on Saturdays. But that's not so bad, the teachers let us bring money and we buy pizza for lunch.
No, the real killer is that there's basketball practice on these snow days, and I live a quarter of a mile from the school, meaning that even if the roads are slick, I'm still going. And I have a friggin cold, and lemme tell you, this one's a doozy.
I cry with you. New Jersey is predicted to get three feet of snow on Sunday.

At least it stays cold consistently. Its warming up for me finally but GOT FUCKING DAMNIT it goes back and forth. 2 weeks ago I had a high of 70 with snow the next day. Oh yeah after 15 days of no school due to snow I can understand being tired of it though.

1808139 Yeah, a couple of weeks ago there was a Saturday that was 70 degrees out. I wore shorts and a t-shirt and went on a walk with my Mom, I in my rollerblades.

Oh, sweet Celestia, that is terrible! I mean, we were on a burn ban too, just because of a lack of precipitation, not because of heat. There were soooooooo many fires in the west. Then we stopped hearing about that because that was over there, and the snow was here. There's been people in like, Atlanta, stuck in their cars for hours because they can't get off the interstates and they're not in the gear to walk home.
