Original Fiction

Have you ever wanted to write original fiction, especially online short fiction? That is, short stories and flash fics of original, human stories? If you have, then my friend Azusa just compiled one of the most extensive lists of paying markets for online short fiction I've ever seen. There are 21 different markets here, all available to pay you for writing a short story. For those of you who may be pony authors, this is a big deal, because it means you can take what you've learned from ponies, modify it to humans, and get paid for it. And not just small cash, either. If you get a 4000 word story published on Tor.com, you'll be paid $1000.

Not necessarily. And more on topic, I do think it'd be a good idea for you to check out original short fiction. They love little, well-packaged stories like those that you write. And I mean, if you're successful, you get money.

Yay monies! I actually used to write a weekly science fiction story at the college I was at, got paid somewhere between 15-50 bucks depending on how much I wrote for the magazine. Went hand in hand with the sketching for graphic novels I did as well. Been a while since I've done it, but I think it'd be great fun as well!
