For those who have joined "The Royal Guard"

If you've joined The Royal Guard, which will be making site posts promoting good stories every other week, they talked about how they're going to handle their site posts, noting they're limited by the mods to every other week and if they limit the number of stories they post about in each post, they could end up with a bad backlog (though it would make it feel more special to have your story as one of the few promoted with each sitepost, which I like).

Anyway, less than 15 minutes ago, site mod Obsolescence (responding specifically to me, oddly) said this about the idea of raising it to once a week:

I'unno about a petition, but again, if you'd like to see it, feel free to express your support for weekly posts here/in the sitepost/whatnot, and the staff will be sure to take folks' opinion into account for any further discussions on the matter.

So if you want to see it raised to once a week, like I do (also gets us more good stories shown faster while preserving the feeling of specialness) then please express said support on the first sitepost, which I recall will be Tuesday.

BTW, I submitted my story "Gimme Shelter" to them and have yet to hear back, so watch for it on the site posts if it passes.

Well, it's slightly complicated. Don't necessarily count on more than fortnightly site posts for TRG, but if you'd like to see it, express your support, and the staff will be sure to take that into consideration.

But, again, no guarantees.
