I Believe its Time for Revisions

Greetings all,

Well, I know I've said it before, but I think I'm finally going to knuckle down and start proofing and making revisions to my chapters. It came as a revelation of sorts. I had submitted my story more out of curiosity to the group, The Royal Guard (which you may have heard of), only to be rejected at their first tier. While I was a bit disappointed, the reviewer was extremely detailed in their reasons, and even gave me pointers on issues that weren't even a part of the rejection, but might have if I made it past the first tier. So, now its time to polish things up a bit. I'm not about to brag about my story, but I think I at least have potential to create a well written story. However, won't be doing all these revisions on my own.

I visited the Proof Readers group, and currently I've sought out two individuals for their assistance, both in editing/proofing, and plot development. Though I've contacted individuals from this group once prior without finding someone available, I think its a least worth a shot doing so this time.

So what does this mean for my writing in the future? I'm not entirely sure. I've never worked with another individual on my story before, so I don't really know how much of my time it will take. In the immediate future I don't think it will impede my progress on chapter 15, but from there is more up in the air. But I believe this will be more beneficial in the long run, for me as an author, and for you all, as I hope to produce higher quality chapters.

So, hopefully, one of these individuals will be available, and we can get to polishing this thing up.
