Introductions, a new idea and in need of help

I am new to many things writing, my little pony: friendship is magic and being on this website. I hope you all treat me nicely.

Onto the next subject of this particular blog. I have a new idea for a story about a Asylum styled pony story. All the ponies will remain ponies, i don't particularly like them as humans.

Finally i need some help with my descriptive setting and character descriptions. Im having trouble with describing things in detail, so if anyone has suggestions they would be great fully received and taken into thought.
