Greetings various sentient beings!

If you are reading this it means you saw a comment I posted and thought to check out my page for some reason.

Now I bestow upon you the Theory of Universal Stemming.
This theory will explain how one person's link to a universe through what they think is imagination can stem out into a multitude of alternate possibilities that beings develop.

Take the MLP universe for example,(for its relevance and success as a stemmed universe)
At one time Lauren Faust had an image of a universe filled with magical ponies. What she didn't know was that this place actually did exist somewhere in the multiverse and that many of the things she thought of for her show actually happened in this "root universe" that we shall name MLP-1. After her thoughts got into the show too much it created a new universe that had taken up its timeline where it separated from MLP-1. Thus creating MLP-2 otherwise known as the "cannon" MLP universe.
Then people started thinking of their own equestrias and thus made even more universes to the point where there are too many to count.

This does not mean however that every fanfic made has its own universe. In order for a fanfic to become a universe it has to have a set of rules governing the characters and physics of their world (In other words real stories may become universes but one-shots will not). Most of the time a story has to reach over 50,000 words to have created a new universe AND kept it stable enough to not collapse.

These universes created from imagination are called " imaginative stems" and can only be made by those in universe 1 (the one you are currently residing in).
In Faust's case she saw into the original equestria. Same thing happened with Michael DiMartino (Avatar:The Last Airbender) and Yana Toboso (Black Butler), they saw into another universe and made one stem out from their imagination. This is not the case in all TV shows though, most are not their own universes. An easy way to tell is if they make references to this universe. Not always reliable but it means there is no "Family Guy" Universe.

I hope this arises questions in those who chose to read it and that I have answers for them.
