This would be me hurrying to the hospital.... during rush hour.
Anyways, currently, I'm doing some rewriting of the latest Ballad chapter, since there were some parts I wasn't satisfied with. Let's see how quickly I can bang the chapter out with one operational hand. I've also started writing the second chapter for A Lot Like You, though I'm debating whether to finish that first in order to submit it to EqD (1st chapter is too short for EqD submission guidelines), or to finally finish the Ballad chapter (which is longer, thus will take more time).
Decisions, decisions.
PS: I'm at work, so I can't make a longer post, but I didn't want to leave before fanboy man-squealing that Mazzyrazzy's Twerpy fic, Trails and Trials, updated recently. I also wanna congratulate Donny's Boy on getting another of his fics up on Equestria Daily: Seeking Beauty (which you should read if you haven't yet).
Basically, if you are not following both of these great writers, you are a terrorist.

So that's why I haven't seen A Lot Like You on EqD yet. I know they've been swamped, but it's been almost three weeks; I thought they'd have had it up by now, unless all the prereaders got discorded or something. But if it's too short, well, that explains things.
Anyway, don't push yourself too hard. I'm fairly certain that whatever you do next is going to be bucking amazing, and I'm willing to wait for it if I must.

I had that happen once, but it was with a badly opened can of Frito Dip, of all things. A can of Frito Dip that cut me. And it freaking HURT. It would not stop bleeding.

Yea random fact if you get cut on your toes of tips of your fingers you will bleed more than almost anywhere else on your body(excluding major arteries), oh and it hurts ALOT.

I would suggest Alot Like You...that one is simply fantastic. Ususally after a couple weeks without an update, I lose interest in a story, but this one is well-worth however long we wait.
